The Power of One Woman to Make a Real Difference

This year’s Women Build wrapped up on Sept. 24 and by all accounts it was a great success. Thanks to the support of Presenting Sponsor, Benefit Cosmetics Canada, over nine days close to 1,000 women hammered, sawed, drilled and raised over $400,000 in support of Habitat GTA and our partner families. Together, this group of amazing women were able to erect the first floor of the first 15 homes on this site, which will eventually house 50 families. Keelan Robinson is one of these amazing women. She was named the top individual fundraiser of Women Build 2016 by personally raising $11,500 and her team Pony Tail Power was named top fundraising team, raising $52,000 in support of Habitat families!
